Woaw, moving to Japan? That must be so exciting :)
Well, I arrived there at around 10:15 and there was maybe 4-5 Lolitas waiting already. You just have to wait in line in front of the doors, on the left next to the Vivienne Westwood shop. Then, around 10:45 an Angelic Pretty shop girl came and made us pick a number out of a bag (first girl in line could pick her number first, etc.)
Then, at the opening at 11:00, all the girls who got the numbers between 1 and 10 could enter the shop. At 11:20, girls with numbers 11-20 could enter (that included me, as I got no. 17!) and so on…
I hope my little explanation was clear :) I already wish you luck to get the Cosmic series, it’s so pretty!
Angelic Pretty Dressy Rose - April 19th 2014
Today, I wore Lolita for the first time in Japan :) I really really really wanted to buy the new release, Sweetie Violet, so I thought that would be a good occasion to dress up and go to Laforet and try to get it! It was actually quite an experience! I came earlier to wait in line among other Japanese Lolitas and then, we had a raffle. I picked n° 17, which made me worried at first, but I managed to get the dress in the colour I wanted :)
This day will remain an amazing memory for me, even though my outfit is not that great (I bought this dress on wednesday at Closet Child Shinjuku and I had to create an outfit with what I had in my suitcase^^’).
Awww thank you so much sweetie ♥
I don’t want to make you jealous ;____; I really hope that one day you’ll be able to go to Japan too!
Well, honestly I don’t like to talk about money on internet^^ but what I can tell you is that I am a professional painter/illustrator. I am still living with my parents right now, which helps, but I try to save my money as much as possible for Lolita, so I buy most of my clothes by myself. But my parents really support me in my passion, so they usually also buy me Lolita clothes as presents for my birthday/Christmas.
Yes I am Swiss, but no I can’t speak German ^^ My first language is French! In Switzerland we actually have 4 national languages: German, French, Italian and Romansh. Well, yes Germany is just next to Switzerland, but France, Italy and Austria too ;)
Yes I am :) I arrived there on April 15 and I am staying until May 16! I will try to post some pictures I took later!
And don’t be jealous ;___; Try to save your money and maybe one day you’ll go too :)
Today, I will wear Lolita in Tokyo for the first time :) It’s like a dream come true! And of course, I will wear one of my new dresses that I found in Closet Child Shinjuku: Angelic Pretty Dressy Rose! ♥
Awwww thank you so so much ♥ you’re just too kind :) and I am really glad you like my blog! Also, to answer your question, I am from Switzerland!
Well, they took quite a long time to release this version of the website… so I think it’s the final one :/ I think it’s such a shame and makes actually quite angry ^^’
I am super disappointed by the new Angelic Pretty online shop… it’s not really easy to use for overseas customers :( They haven’t even made a registration page in English, WTF?!
Also, are we supposed to write our names in katakana now? What? I have a super complicated last name myself that I am not even sure I can write it in katakana. I usually don’t rant much… but this is SO disappointing… It’s like they really wanted to make it difficult for foreigners to order from them.
